APPLE MUFFINS

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Quebec apples, diced into small cubes

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 egg

  • ½ cup milk

  • ¼ cup melted butter

  • ½ cup Dora Apple Jelly

PREPARATION

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.

  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, melted butter, and Dora Apple Jelly (slightly softened to incorporate more easily).

  4. Fold in the diced apples, then gradually add the dry ingredients.

  5. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups of a greased or lined muffin tin.

  6. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
